aright peeeeps, a jazzified post here..
to start,
a tune from perquisite and pete philly's new(ish) album ‘mystery repeats’.. perquisite and pete philly - mystery repeats the oboe bassline is pretty damn nice, though i haven't made my mind up about the vocals at the end.. the album is pretty well produced but i can't help thinking the stuff perquisite does without pete philly is a whole lot better...checkperquisite and benjamin herman - ornithology to see what you think..
i know ive posted mulatu before and the tune is quite similar to emnete but it's equally as big..mulatu astatke - yegelle tezeta (my own memory)
lastly,
some lo-fi/nu-jazz/jazzy beats and pieces(i never know how best to describe this kinda thing..) mocean worker - brown liquor,a jazz/soul tune i came across yesterday - abram wilson - gonna be alright and a nice little instrumental rework of hey ya! - shaun lee's ping pong orchestra- hey ya
yours,
